Fitness Camp is an outdoor group training program, 60 minutes of sweat inducing, muscle-pumping exercises, designed to transform your body from regular to ripped. Its a group training class that challenges and motivates you, but above all encourages you to have FUN while getting a great workout! Fitness Camp is a outdoor exercise bootcamp designed for ALL fitness levels. You are invited to join us no matter what your athletic ability or weight might be. Everyone works at their own pace and everyone receives personal attention and training from a qualified training Instructor from the American Council on Exercise.

How often Should I attend?

Our boot camps run six days a week, Monday – Saturday.
We recommend you attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week to achieve great results.

What kind of exercises do we do?

Cardio mix, calisthenics, interval training, agility courses, plyometrics, TRX and resistance training. Each workout is for 60mins, and will involve some of the top and most comprehensive and effective exercises in the fitness industry today. Each exercises is demonstrated for beginners, intermediate and advanced fitness levels. The workouts are designed to give you a full body workout improving your overall strength, agility, flexibility, and endurance.

What are the benefits of bootcamp?

You will definatley lose weight!.. while gaining a stronger, more athletic physique, lose belly fat, gain confidence, flatter stomach, learn better nutritional habits, tone your muscles, get in great shape and become best physical you possible!

Do I need to be in shape before starting?

Not at all! Whether or not you haven’t worked out in years, or you are already fit, everyone can benefit from this program. Classes are designed to challenge all fitness levels.

What kind of equipment is used?

You have the equipment you need….YOU! You will do exercises that require no additional weights. We also have the gear to get your body in gear! That includes TRX suspension training, speed ladders, skipping ropes, speed chutes and resistance bands.

When can I start Boot Camp?

Once you have signed up and completed your FREE 1-Week Trial, you can start from the next available session.

Is Boot Camp right for me?

Where are the FCA classes held?

Classes are held in the beautiful outdoors, at East Coast Park and Marina Bay Financial Centre. More locations coming soon. Or if you wouod like your own local bootcamp, we can come to you and start a new bootcamp. (Min of 6 participants required)

Is There Nutrition Advice Included?

Yes, the number one most important component of any weight and fat loss program is NUTRITION. We provide every one of our boot camp members with a tried and proven Simple Nutrition Rules before the start of camp. We also provide additional social support through email and phone coaching calls for those who feel like they need the added accountability and support.

All members of Fitness Camp receive FREE Nutritional Menus. The Nutrition Plan is the perfect accompaniment to the hard work and intense exercise you are doing at Boot Camp. The Plan is very easy to follow and allows you to choose your own meal, snack, and even dessert combination’s. Portion sizes are pre-selected for you, all you do is pick the item, add it to your list, and you are done.

To make the Plan as enjoyable as possible, chocolate, fast food, seafood, lean meats, poultry, sauces, marinades, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, eggs and dairy have been included. There are no dietary restrictions at all, just healthy food in calorie controlled portions.

What if I’m a vegetarian.

Will I still be able to use the fat loss

nutritional guidance in this program?

You can still use the principles of the fat loss nutritional strategies section and get great results even if you choose to be vegetarian. You will simply need to modify some of the examples to your vegetarian needs.  However, since you’ve chosen to eliminate animal based products from your diet, you’ll need to be extra careful to obtain sufficient quality protein as well as other specific nutrients typically lacking in a vegetarian diet to keep your body healthy and functioning properly.

Does this program require me to buy any expensive supplements or diet pills?

Absolutely NOT! Approximately 95% of all supplements and diet pills are a complete waste of money anyway. They are simply luring you in with their devious marketing ploys to try and get you to believe that there is a “magic pill in a bottle” that will solve all of your body fat and muscle issues and have you looking like the fitness model on the bottle in a couple days.

The fact is that you don’t need supplements to develop the body of your dreams! All you need is a seriously effective style of training, the right mindset, as well as good quality wholesome food in the right combinations and proportions, at the right times, and in the right quantities to achieve whatever your goals are… whether they are fat-burning or muscle building goals.

Do you have any age restrictions?

We welcome all ages, from teens to retirement, and every one in between in our Boot Camp. Each person that feels uncertain may go through a fitness evaluation to determine readiness. No need to worry, we will adjust the training style to each individual on command, personalizing your Boot Camp experience to fit your bodies capabilities.

Am I too young? I’m only 16.

I want to get in better shape, but am I

too young to start on a program like this?

Fitness Camp can be applied to most ages. However, in the younger teen years, starting with bodyweight-only exercises, like we have in our Boot camp is a great way to get started into fitness and get in great shape. Our program involves a large variety of bodyweight-based exercises that you will benefit greatly from.

Personally, looking back to my teen years when I was just starting to get interested in fitness and exercising, I wish that I understood all of the essential aspects of training and nutrition that I do today, about 20 years later. It would have saved me years of frustration when I was training and eating in ALL the wrong ways. That’s where Fitness Camp will set you straight for life, so that you don’t have to struggle to try to figure everything out on your own for years like I did.

Can I bring friends, family or co-workers?

What should I do after I complete bootcamp?

Fitness is a way of life. The quality of the life you lead is up to you. After you complete the 12-week bootcamp, we encourage you to continue to workout and eat healthy. Many campers stay with us and continue to enjoy the camaraderie and motivation of our group outdoor bootcamps. We encourage you to continue with us but whatever you do upon completion of bootcamp don’t stop working out.

I am really overweight, can I sign up?

Depending on your current situation we will always recommend that you get clearance from your doctor before beginning Fitness Camp. Our goal is always to help you achieve your fitness goals and stay healthy. Situations vary, so give us a call or email us, to discuss your situation.

I am not a runner, is this program for me?

YES it is!…  We have designed our program to help you increase your endurance at a level you can handle. Although there is only a minor amount of running, our workouts vary so no need to worry about running. If running is not your forte don’t worry, you’ll never have to run alone. Fitness Camp Instructors are trained to help you every step of the way.

How is this different than the local health club?

Fitness Camp is an OUTDOOR fitness program designed to get you in the best shape of your life in a fun and motivating atmosphere. Unlike a traditional health club you won’t encounter intimidation, overcrowding, and broken down equipment. Best of all its 1/3 the cost of typical health club Personal Training… And way more fun!

Does the Boot Camp ever end?

The program runs for 12 weeks, with a 6-week prize winning competition at the 6th week to the finish line. However many students who join Fitness Camp enjoy the social & community aspect of group training, as well as the health benefits, so many of our student continue with as a regular form of exercise. What If I Can’t Make It To All The Classes?

We will credit upto 3 missed classes in case classes are missed due to illness / travel.

What do I need to bring to Bootcamp?

All you have to bring is a positive attitude. Make sure you wear some athletic clothing and comfortable exercise shoes. Also bring a water bottle, hydration during bootcamp is very important. Be sure to NOT come on an empty stomach, you’ll get lightheaded and maybe a little dizzy during the workout. Try to eat something light 30-60 minutes before the workout begins.

Can I Pay Per Workout?

Membership is for the 12 week program, how ever if you wish to pay monthly that is fine also. We dont allow per workout payment as it leads to lack of mental strength and commitment to your health goals. Put your heart into this and commit to getting your physique and health back on track by committing to the 12 week program. That way you’ll stay committed & consistent in your work outs to achieve the results you have set to achieve. Attending once in a way will unfortunately show no results which will be a disservice on our part.

Will I Be Sore After The Workout?

Most people will feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is little to moderate. Soreness is a part of the training process that lets you know you are getting better! After the first few weeks your body will begin to adjust and you’ll find that you’re rarely sore.

How Soon Will I See Results?

Your results vary on your commitment to your training and nutrition program. 70-80% of your success will be determined by your nutrition. All bodies respond differently to training, however, most campers will see and feel dramatic results by the end of week 2. Members can feel great results in as short as 1 week and see visual changes in a few weeks. In order to see maximal results you must stick to the nutrition program we give you and attend all our boot camp workouts.

But generaly in no time at all you will have increased strength, endurance, cardiovascular output, improved posture, better relaxation and gained 100% self-confidence. Your entire body will be leaner, more tone, resilient, strong, agile and beautiful!. Expect to be in the best shape of your life!

Will I Be Yelled At During Bootcamp?

Yes, but only in a motivating and healthy manner. We don’t abuse, harass or degrade you. We only use positive reinforcement and encouragement along with some fun jokes now and again. Fitness Camp is NON-MILITARY style.

What Do I Wear To Boot Camp Sessions?

Wear comfortable, soft, breathable clothes and materials. Definitely no jeans or work boots. Be sure your workout trainers are comfortable and have good support.
